SOUTHERN ARIZONA UPDATES

Dear AWLA Southern Arizona Chapter members,

 

I write to wish each and every one you a very happy Hanukkah, Christmas, Kwanzaa, New Year, and every other holiday you might celebrate this time of year!  I have been privileged to get to know you over the years, and if we have not met, I very much look forward to getting to know you in 2015.

 

I hope that as the end of the tax year approaches, you will keep the Community Service Committee's designated charity in mind.  As you know, throughout the year we have collected gently-used clothing and household items for our designated charity, Wings for Women.  We have also collected change for this charity throughout the year.  However, I encourage you to now send them a check or other monetary donation as the year draws to a close.  Your donations to Wings for Women are eligible to qualify as tax-deductible donations.  Checks can be mailed to Wings for Women, P.O. Box 23369, Tucson, AZ 85734.

 

Wings for Women’s mission and vision is to provide a safe and positive environment to homeless and impoverished women and their children.  Wings for Women offers a variety of services designed to assist women in their journey towards independent lives in the community.  You can learn more about it here:  http://wingsforwomentucson.org/
