Covid is still with us, but it is clearly not the only thing going on. There are a lot of other current events to which our children are exposed: Killings by police officers, the war in Ukraine, political and social divisiveness, and climate change/severe weather events to name but a few. How do we talk to our kids about those and other events, both in initiating conversations and in answering questions and, often, abating anxiety.

Join us as we discuss our experiences, thoughts, plans, tips, and strategies for navigating these issues. Please be prepared to share your thoughts and strategies, or come with questions—this will be an interactive conversation, not a presentation.
