Payment in Full In Advance Or At Event
In order to receive the pre-paid luncheon prices, you MUST pre-pay with your credit card on the website BY THE RSVP DEADLINE. DO NOT MAIL IN CHECKS.

If you make a reservation but do not pay on the website with your credit card, you must pay the total cost plus an additional $5 by check or cash at the door. Please see prices on the website.

If you cancel after the registration deadline, or do not show up for a luncheon for which you have registered and you have not paid, you will be billed at the "at the door" price. We pay for the number of meals we guarantee so we must collect the money from you.
Cancellation Policy:
We do not give refunds, but a member can receive a credit IF you prepay for the luncheon meeting and cancel BEFORE the registration deadline. After the registration deadline of NOON on the Friday before the luncheon meeting, we cannot provide you with a credit. We are required to guarantee the number of meals to the University Club, and we pay for those meals even if you must cancel after the registration deadline. In the span of a year, Megan Carrasco served as a juror on a 3-week jury trial and tried a case to an 8-person jury. In this presentation, she will share how seeing a trial from the juror's perspective has influenced her approach to trial practice. From understanding the subtle dynamics of jury deliberation to recognizing the impact of lawyer behavior in the courtroom, this presentation will offer valuable lessons for any attorney. You’ll learn best practices for engaging with jurors, avoiding common pitfalls, and crafting more persuasive arguments—ensuring that your next trial is both effective and jury-friendly.

Megan Carrasco focuses her practice on commercial litigation, investigations, government enforcement and white collar protection. In her investigation, government enforcement, and white collar protection practice, she regularly conducts internal investigations and represents companies and individuals in a wide variety of matters relating to federal and state criminal, civil, and regulatory matters.

Megan also focuses her practice on construction litigation. She regularly represents owners (including homeowners), contractors, and subcontractors in all aspects of construction disputes. Her experience includes disputes related to defective workmanship, wrongful terminations, change orders, mechanic's liens, and breach of contract.

She also has experience in patent litigation, representing both patent holders and accused infringers.

Megan graduated magna cum laude from the Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law at Arizona Sate University. Before joining Snell & Wilmer, she clerked for the Arizona Supreme Court and the United States District Court for the District of Arizona. She also completed several externships with the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, the Arizona Court of Appeals, the Arizona Department of Gaming, and the Arizona Attorney General's Office.

All meals served with garaden salad (vegan/gluten-free), rolls and butter, and frozen sorbet (vegan/gluten- free). Also included are iced tea and water pitchers on the tables. A coffee and tea station will be in the back of the room.
