Join AWLA members as it volunteers on Earth Day for a Free Compost Workshop, where you can learn about the wonderful world of composting and get your hands dirty in the garden.

Let’s Go Compost experts will guide you through the art of composting. Learn how to turn kitchen scraps and yard waste into nutrient-rich soil for your garden.
· Put your new knowledge to work! Help us maintain and improve the community garden's compost pile. Bring your gardening gloves and enthusiasm!
· Members are encouraged to bring their children.
· Raffle Prize: Attendees will have a chance to win a special raffle prize at the end of the session. You won't want to miss out on this!
· The garden is on the north side of the lot behind the main community garden building. Just follow the sidewalk past the basketball court, playground and pool and it's at the very end!

All participants will be required to fill out a release form when they arrive.
